Cr Peter Flannery represented Division 2 in the Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC) until 2019. Peter Flannery then nominated for election as Mayor of MBRC at the 2020 Local Government Area elections. Leading into the March 2020 election, Peter and his campaign manager/wife Annmarie spent time with Kirsty from Social Ocean to discuss, plan and implement relative content and historical records from various media to a new website.
Choosing a simple Wix Website meant a quick turn around for the project. Plus Annmarie could receive training easily and the website could be published swiftly.
Several pages allowed community members to learn more about Peter outside of his Council role. Information about his career history, campaign commitments, political expertise and general election information was all available.
The website is no longer published, but a copy of the website is now held by the State Library of Queensland archives for historical record, after Peter won his campaign and was elected the Mayor of Moreton Bay Regional Council.
